In order to become a BIA Partner the principal of each training center must:

1. Be a qualified MYOB Certified Consultant - thereby providing proof of their competency as both a bookkeeper and an expert in the MYOB Accounting System.

2. Hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment as proof of their competency as a classroom Trainer and Assessor.

3. Hold either a BIA Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) qualification or higher as proof of their academic bookkeeping and accounting qualification.

During the conference Matthew Addison, Executive Director of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, awarded the very first —ever — BIA Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) to BIA Perth Partner Cheryl Knight of WiseClick Training.
